Rastrapathi Puraskar is a National level award issued to the Scout/ Guide on completion of requirements and the skills issued by The Bharat Scouts and Guides India APRO II/III, the latest syllabus can be found on the official website   http://www.bsgindia.org/.
Rastrapathi certificate will be signed by the President of India, it is the highest award a Boy/Girl can get as a Scout/ Guide. But unfortunately, for the past 5 years Rastrapathi award has been put on hold, results of 2 batched (2yrs) is on hold and no exams are carried out.
However, some of the educational institutes and State level competitive exams have started considering the Rajyapuraskar Award itself for the benefits and avail reservation quota.




Scouting is not about availing the benefits with the certification; it is been facilitated for the encouragement and appreciation purpose only. Scouting skill is for life, overall development of a child, bringing out hidden talent, working in groups, developing unity, confidence, courage, creativity, friendship, patriotism, love towards nature, awareness and lot more.

Ans: We don't call it certificate it is an award a Scout or Guide gets on skilling up as per the APRO requirements issued by Bharat Scouts and Guides India.
